Additional Backup Information:
This contract will provide consulting services related to essential electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, and plumbing equipment and systems at the Combined Transportation, Emergency, and Communications Center (CTECC). CTECC was completed in October of 2003. While routine maintenance and repairs have been performed over the past 20 years, the facility's critical building systems (chillers, generators, air conditioning systems, etc.) are reaching the end of their life cycle. As part of preventative maintenance, two professional engineering reports were completed by Encotech Engineering Consultants, Inc. first in 2017 and again in 2022. The purpose of these two reports was to assess the system conditions, determine future reliability, and quantify replacement costs for budgeting purposes.
