Additional Backup Information:

The Combined Transportation Emergency and Communications (CTECC) facility is comprised of exclusive use space designed to meet the specific requirements of CTECC Partners (Capital Metro, City of Austin, Travis County, Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)). TxDOT has identified dedicated space at CTECC that is presently unused. TxDOT expressed interest in leasing this exclusive use space to one of the CTECC Partners. The City requires additional office space due to the growth-related demands on emergency communications staff at the Austin Fire Department and Austin Police Department. This interlocal agreement formalizes the arrangement for the City to lease the exclusive use space from TxDOT for a term of 10 years.
