December 17, 2017 - Council passed Resolution No. 20171214-056 which authorized the submittal of a list of potential transportation projects for the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) 2019-2022 Call for Projects.
September 25, 2014 - Council passed Ordinance No. 20140925-143 which adopted the Urban Trails Master Plan, including the Tier 1 trail, Austin to Manor Rail with Trail.

The Austin to Manor Rail with Trail Phase 2 is a proposed 3-mile long trail running from Walter E Long Park to Ben E Fischer Park in Manor, Texas. The first phase of the project, which extends from the intersection of Daffan Lane and Johnny Morris Road to the intersection of Decker Lane and Lindell Lane, was completed in the fall of 2014 and is a total length of approximately 2.9 miles.
This proposed second phase of the project will extend the trail from phase 1 to provide the required connection from the City of Austin to the City of Manor and will also provide accessibility from Manor to the Southern Walnut Creek trail, creating a 12-mile long trail system. The...
