Austin Homeless Strategies and Operations will use these funds to sustain critical services for people experiencing homelessness. General HHSP funding will support emergency shelter, case management, housing assistance, and homelessness prevention for single adults and families at the Salvation Army's Austin Shelter for Women and Children and the Rathgeber Center for Families. The HHSP Youth Set-Aside will fund similar services for youth and young adults up to age 24, including street outreach and shelter, through a partnership with the Youth and Family Alliance (LifeWorks). Specific performance measures will be developed in coordination with each provider during agreement development.
