Together 4 Children provides workforce development leadership training for childcare administrators to help stem the loss of high-quality, licensed childcare workers, and combat worker-retention challenges in the critical childcare services industry.
The Economic Development Department is currently developing a Request for Proposals (RFP) solicitation to award the next round of contracts for the workforce development services it manages, but the RFP will not launch until 2025 and the new contract will not begin until 2026. This amendment will allow Together 4 Children to offer two additional training cohorts in 2025-2026 while the RFP is being conducted, providing training to 60 additional childcare administrators (30 per cohort).
