This contract will secure critical equipment, parts, and repair services for Emerson, Mueller, RF Valves, and Flowserve equipment necessary to support continuous operations for Austin Water and Wastewater facilities. The contract will guarantee continued access to specialized components such as seals, motors, accessories, and other vital items for various operating pumps.
This is a new contract. Requested authorization was determined using departmental estimates based on anticipated future usage. Scruggs Distribution LLC d/b/a The Scruggs Company is the sole authorized distributor and service provider representative for Emerson, Mueller, RF Valves, Inc., and Flowserve Corporation.
If this contract is not approved, the time to obtain these critical parts and services would increase significantly, delaying repairs and extending the time required to restore equipment and facilities to full operating capacity.
