Funding in the amount of $33,333 is available in the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Operating Budget of the Fleet Mobility Services Department.
Funding for the remaining contract term is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.

The recommended contractor submitted the only responsive offer. This contract will provide parts, repair, and related services for radiators, fuel tanks, hydraulic tanks, and oil tanks for the City’s fleet of off-road equipment, emergency service, light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles on an as-needed basis. The contractor will provide cleaning, rebuilding, and rodding out for radiators and fluid tanks. The City currently has 7,180 various types of vehicles and equipment to maintain and repair. This contract will assist in keeping vehicles and equipment in good operating condition, lowering maintenance costs, and extending their lifecycle
The contract will replace a contract which expires June 20, 2024. The requested authorization amounts were determined by using departmental estimates based on historical spending and will allow for a small annual growth for aging radiators and fluid tanks, as well as future acquisitions. The recommended contractor is the current provider of these goods and services.
A delay in contract approval could impact Fleet’s ability to keep City vehicles in good operating condition.
