Prior Council Action:

February 26, 2026 - Council authorized the negotiation and execution of an amendment to the interlocal agreement with Austin-Travis County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center d/b/a Integral Care to extend the term of the current agreement to December 21, 2026, to add one-time funding in an amount not to exceed $25,994 for the one remaining extension option, for a revised total agreement amount of $769,656. on an 11-0 vote. 

 

January 30, 2025 - Council authorized the negotiation and execution of an amendment to the interlocal agreement with Austin-Travis County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center d/b/a Integral Care for a 12-month term, ending on September 30, 2025, to add one-time funding in an amount not to exceed $23,153, for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $717,668 on an 11-0 vote.

 

January 18, 2024 - Council authorized negotiation and execution of an amendment to the interlocal agreement with Austin Travis-County Mental Health and Mental Retardation d/b/a Integral Care to provide HIV-related housing services, to add one-time funding to the 12-month term beginning October 1, 2023, in an amount not to exceed $17,875, for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $694,515 on an 11-0 vote.

Additional Backup Information:

This action will authorize negotiation and execution of Amendment No. 7 with Austin-Travis County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Center d/b/a Integral Care program to provide housing services to people living with HIV. The program provides service linkage to primary medical care, referrals to other agencies for medical care and/or support services, and external collaborative activities related to these services. The program’s main outcome goal is that clients will maintain a table living environment and reduce their risk of homelessness. This program addresses key community needs identified in Austin Public Health’s Community Health Assessment.

 

The agreement was renewed from 2023 to 2026, including Amendment No. 1 through 6. Amendments 2, 4, and 6 were no-cost amendments to change contract exhibits.
