This contract will provide supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software support services needed to support and maintain Austin Water’s SCADA platforms. This software monitors and controls the process equipment installed at water distribution and lift station sites.

Schneider Electric Systems USA Inc. provides the OASyS SCADA product and several custom-built applications and protocols to the City and is solely capable of maintaining the  system. Schneider Electric is the sole owner of this software that is highly specialized, proprietary, and is necessary for operation of the SCADA system.

This contract replaces a contract that expired on April 30, 2024. The Master Agreement included a SCADA replacement and upgrade followed by annual support options. The last 6-month support extension provided services until this contract could be executed.

The recommended contractor is the current provider for these goods and services.
