August 29, 2024 - Council authorized negotiation and execution of an amendment to the agreement with The University of Texas at Austin to provide community-based health prevention and education programs, to add one 12-month extension option for the period ending on September 30, 2025, in an amount not to exceed $117,643, for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $1,109,291, on a 10-0 vote.

This action will authorize negotiation and execution of Amendment No. 15 to the agreement with The University of Texas at Austin, for the Alliance for African American Health in Central Texas program, to build awareness, community, and engagement for chronic disease prevention for African Americans. The agreement was renewed from 2016-2026, including Amendment No. 1 through No. 11. Amendment No. 4 and No. 12 were no-cost amendments to change contract exhibits.
