The contract will replace a contract which expired on June 11, 2023. Surplus inventory from the previous contract is being depleted. The Transportation and Public Works Department anticipates that demand for traffic signal heads will increase due to future bond projects. The requested authorization amounts were determined using departmental estimates and historical spending. The recommended contractor is not the previous provider for these items.
