Additional Backup Information:
The amendment will provide continued geospatial support and consulting services to support the varying geospatial needs of the City. The current initiatives and projects for this amendment include utility network migration and go-live support, integration support, parcel maintenance ArcGIS modernization, and additional ad hoc geospatial support. Continued support is necessary for permitting and plan review, internal technical processes, and integrations with other systems such as AMANDA and to complete the migration of the utility network software. This amendment will consolidate services from two existing agreements into a single contract that remains active through November 2028. The departments’ estimates have been combined to determine the requested authorization amounts.
The services Axim Geospatial LLC provides are essential to deployment of Esri’s Utility Network into the most current version of the software. Esri’s Utility Network is a geographic information system framework for modeling, managing, and analyzing complex utility systems. If the City is unable to modernize the platform, the City will lose technical support and be required to maintain infrastructure on earlier software versions, placing the City at a disadvantage for software support and security.
