The contract will provide advanced support for Application Management and Data Automation (AMANDA) case management software, licensing, maintenance, migration, and support services. The AMANDA software system manages, tracks, and produces reports on land development and reviews activities including permits, trade licenses, escrow inspections, neighborhood planning, and zoning within one system. Unisys migration services will assist City staff throughout system changes, ensuring that AMANDA remains operational during the transition period.
UNISYS CORP. has worked with the City for the past 16 years to provide support and services for the enterprise application AMANDA. The complex customization of the AMANDA system requires intimate familiarity with City infrastructure, business stakeholders, constraints, and security requirements. This contract will replace the existing contract which expires May 22, 2026. The recommended contractor is the current provider for these services.
If a contract is not approved, there could be delays in citizens’ ability to apply for permits and licenses, submit plan reviews, request inspections, and view the status of permits, inspections, and licenses that they have already requested.
