Prior Council Action:

November 20, 2025 - Council approved Ordinance No. 20251120-004 appropriating $250,000 for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 to provide support to Travis County in providing navigation services for victims of violence and abuse.

 

June 5, 2025 - Council approved Resolution No.20250605-078 directing the City Manager to support the creation of a Family Justice Center (FJC) through an interlocal agreement and intergovernmental working group between the City and Travis County, explore the formation of a local government corporation, and identify funding sources to support up to four full-time positions and necessary technical infrastructure for FJC services on an 11-0 vote.
