Additional Backup Information:
The contract amendment is for continued and expanded Imperva software support. Currently, the City’s Information Security Office operates security services to defend and protect the City’s internet-facing digital properties. The Imperva FlexProtect service prevents disruption of essential City services caused by malicious internet-based actors attacking City networks and services.
Additional funding is needed for expansion of the software support for the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
If this amendment is not approved, it will weaken the City’s systems, potentially making them vulnerable to attacks.
