This contract will provide a comprehensive water treatment program for optimizing boiler water, cooling water, chilled water, and water production equipment at City commercial facilities. Services include reducing or eliminating scaling, corrosion, and microbial organisms, and testing for legionella. The contractor will provide equipment and a specialized chemical blend for each facility in addition to regular monitoring and testing services to maintain required chemistry levels. These services are necessary to prevent hazardous public health issues and damage to City equipment.
An evaluation team with expertise in this area evaluated the offers and scored ChemTreat, Inc. as the best to provide these services based on Experience, Work Plan, Safety, Price, Local Business Preference and Small Business Preference.
