Additional Backup Information:

In 2017, the City contracted with HDR Engineering, Inc. to provide Corridor Construction Program development. Key HDR staff members and staff from multiple City departments created the corridor program team to lead the Corridor Construction Program.

In April 2019 Council approved further design and implementation of the Corridor. The Corridor Construction Program’s implementation efforts have now progressed such that the continuation of current staff augmentation levels is needed to ensure timely delivery of the program to meet Council Resolutions 20160818-074 and 20180426-028 related to 2016 Bond Corridor Construction Program delivery. This amendment will allow for continuation of HDR Engineering, Inc.’s staffing and consulting services in support of the City’s Corridor Construction Program in the following areas:

                     Project management;

                     Program controls/reporting;

                     Supplemental design phase services;

                     Program delivery system and tools development and implementation support;

                     Communications and public outreach support, and

                     Utility coordination services.

A delay in approval of this contract amendment will impact seamless continuation of support from the consultant to the Corridor Construction Program and City staff.
