This contract will provide equipment, software installation, and support services for Austin Water’s supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system. Austin Water uses SCADA systems to monitor and control various water and wastewater facilities, including treatment plants, water distribution pump stations, reservoirs, and wastewater collection lift stations.
The selected contractor will implement small SCADA improvement projects and provide SCADA support services for mission-critical SCADA systems. The required services will be performed on scheduled or as-needed basis and will include the installation of associated hardware and software, programming, configuration, troubleshooting, and emergency support.
An evaluation team with expertise in this area evaluated the offers and scored Control Panels USA, Inc. as the best to provide these services based on system concepts and solution and program, demonstrated applicable experience, personnel, small business preference, local business preference, and price.
