Additional Backup Information:

This amendment will provide continued specialized maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the centrifugal chillers at Austin Energy’s Sand Hill Energy Center. Services include preventative and corrective maintenance, overhauls, inspections, repairs, upgrades, parts, testing, and rental of chillers. The chillers cool the incoming air allowing the generators to operate efficiently during the summer peaks.  These services support Austin Energy’s goal of maintaining safe, reliable generation facilities and minimizing operational disruptions. The requested additional authorization is based on Austin Energy’s need to continue required services through the end of the contract term, December 13, 2028.
