Pool Interior Colors: The minimum lightness value for pool interiors is now set at 6.5 on the Munsell Gray Scale.

Pool Design Elements: Decorative designs may be incorporated into pool interiors, provided they do not compromise visibility.

Slip Resistance Standards: A coefficient of friction value has been established to assess the slip resistance of walking surfaces.

Structural and Safety Standards: New standards have been introduced for elevated pools, pump rooms, chemical storage, mesh barriers, and public interactive water features.
