Additional Backup Information:

This contract is for the connection, maintenance, and technical support of four high-speed internet connections for the Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD), with one connection each at Palmer Events Center, the Warehouse and Marshalling Yard, 5th Street Parking Garage, and 2nd Street Parking Garage. The contract also includes physical networking infrastructure, internet access, Internet Protocol addresses, around-the-clock technical support, and other Internet Service Provider-related services to deliver reliable wired and wireless connectivity for clients, exhibitors, and attendees.

 

Logix Holding Company LLC is the sole provider capable of delivering enterprise-class Level 2 over Internet Protocol services across all ACCD facilities while meeting the Communications and Technology Management Department’s technical and security specifications. No other contractor can fulfill these requirements. This contract will replace the existing Internet Service Provider agreement, which expires September 30, 2025, with quantities estimated based on historical usage at ACCD facilities. The recommended contractor is the current service provider.

 

A delay in contract approval could impact the ability to provide wired and wireless internet services at these locations.
