Additional Backup Information:

The 2025 Job Order Contract (JOC) Program for City Facility Improvements provides flexible, on-call general contracting services at City facilities across all City departments. With the 2020 Job Order Contract expiration, the 2025 JOC Program will ensure continuity of services. Work performed under this contract will include building construction trades such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall, and roofing.

Qualified Job Order Contracting contractors were selected by a City-staffed evaluation panel that evaluated and scored proposals based on published evaluation criteria to determine the highest-ranked proposers. The services will be provided by a duly qualified and experienced contractor offering the “best value” to the city.

Job Order Contracting is a highly responsive contracting method that allows for services with indefinite time and quantities, using pre-described and pre-priced tasks.  Work may consist of maintenance, repair, alteration, renovation, remediation, or minor construction of City facilities.

If the contracts are not approved, there would be a delay in job order contracting services due to the existing contracts expiring in January 2026.
