Additional Backup Information:
This contract will provide Austin Energy with hauling services throughout the Austin Energy Service Area. The contract will also service areas where Austin Energy maintains electric generation, transmission, distribution, substation, and other facilities. The contractor will provide cranes, tractors, trailers, escort vehicles, dollies, and other labor and equipment as needed to transport heavy electrical equipment, such as power transformers, power transmission poles, mobile substation, and switchgear. The weight of the equipment to be transported will range from 40,000 to 850,000 pounds.
