Additional Backup Information:

Staff recommends approving this Land Development Standards Agreement with Hays Consolidated Independent School District. This is a new agreement with the Hays Consolidated Independent School District that establishes review fees, review periods for development applications, and establishes the applicable land development standards to school buildings including floor-to-area ratio requirements, impervious cover requirements, compatibility standards, temporary classroom building standards, landscape standards, and artificial turf.

 

Additionally, this ordinance will reimburse the development fees associated with the rezoning case for property locally known as the west side of South Turnersville Road, approximately 1,435 linear feet south of its intersection with Turnersville Road and North Turnersville Road (Rinard Creek and Plum Creek Watersheds) which is the school site that will be covered under this Agreement. These fees that will be reimbursed if this ordinance passes include Planning and Development Services Department’s regular rezoning fees, fire site plan review fees from Austin Fire Department, zoning review fees from Transportation and Public Works and Parks and Recreation and all associated technology surcharge, notification, and sign fees.
