Additional Backup Information:
Since 2002, Tree Folks Inc. has leased the Austin Water owned property located at 10803 Platt Lane as their operation center and primary office for their Central Texas Floodplain Reforestation Program. Per the new lease agreement, the City has agreed to rehabilitate the property. The building, originally a residential home is in need of renovation work to address the aging systems including roof, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and expansion of a covered parking structure and multiple greenhouses that will assist Tree Folks with expanding their program and services.
