Prior Council Action:
February 25, 2016 - Council approved an inter-local agreement with Travis County for the construction and maintenance of the Onion Creek Preserve Hike and Bike Trail and Pedestrian Bridge project. This project represents a key segment of the Onion Creek Greenway Regional Trail System, expanding connectivity and access.

Additional Backup Information:
The original Interlocal Agreement between Travis County and City of Austin for the Onion Creek Preserve Hike and Bike Trail and Pedestrian Bridge project was approved by Council in February of 2016 and expired in 2019 due to an automatic expiration clause in the original agreement. A new draft agreement, with no expiration clause, has been prepared in cooperation with Travis County. With Council approval, Austin Parks and Recreation can finalize the agreement and Travis County can proceed with permitting for final construction.
