Authorize execution of a contract for Street Rehabilitation Phase 3 IDIQ #5 with Alpha Paving Industries, LLC., for up to two years for a total contract amount not to exceed $10,000,000.
[Note: This contract will be awarded in compliance with City Code Chapter 2-9A (Minority Owned and Women Owned Business Enterprise Procurement Program) by meeting the goals with 7.30% MBE and 1.82% WBE participation.

Funding for the initial amount of $5,000,000 is available in the Capital Budget of the Transportation and Public Works Department. Funding for the extension options is contingent upon available funding in future budgets.

The Financial Services Department issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) 6100 CLMC993 for these goods and services. The solicitation was issued on May 22, 2023, and closed on June 15, 2023. Of the two offers received, the recommended contractor submitted the lowest responsive offer.
