The contract is for radio communication equipment and services to facilitate operations over the Greater Austin-Travis County Regional Radio System radio spectrum. The contract includes the purchase of antennas, fiber optic cables, switches, transceivers, firewalls, and routers, as well as network planning, installation, maintenance, and optimization services to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.
This is a new contract. Previous purchases of this equipment were made via individual orders.
