Authorize an amendment to a contract for engineering services for the Fallwell Lane Capital Renewal with Halff Associates, Inc. to increase the amount by $500,000, for a revised total contract amount not to exceed $3,500,000.
[Note: This amendment will be awarded in compliance with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program) and City Code 2-9B (Minority Owned and Women Owned Business Enterprise Procurement Program). Current participation to date is 23.52% DBE].

On October 31, 2013, and again on October 30, 2015, flood waters severely damaged Fallwell Lane and threatened the raw water intake structure at Austin Energy's substation, Sand Hill Electrical Center. Austin Water's South Austin Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant in the area east of SH130 also suffered serious damage. Onion Creek flood waters inundated low areas as they flowed into the Colorado River. Bank erosion was severe and extensive restoration and stabilization are required.
