Fiscal Note
Funding in the amount of $63,028 is available in the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Operating Budget of the Housing and Planning Department. Funding for the remaining term is contingent upon the release of federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Community Development Block Grant.
Prior Council Action:
September 30th, 2021 - Council authorized the negotiation and execution of an agreement with Austin Independent School District, d/b/a Austin ISD, to fund and administer the Community Development Block Grant Teen Parent Services Program, in an amount not to exceed $139,910 for the initial term and $139,910 for each extension option through September 30, 2025, for a total agreement amount not to exceed $559,640, on an 11-0 vote.
January 26, 2023 - Council authorized negotiation and execution of Amendment No. 2 to the interlocal agreement with the Austin Independent School District to provide childcare services, parent training, and school attendance and performance monitoring, to add funding in an amount not to exceed $4,004 to the current term and $4,400 for each of the two renewal options, for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $572,444, approved on consent without objection.
