Prior Council Action:
February 17, 2022- Council authorized negotiation and execution of an interlocal agreement with Travis County for the City's provision of food shopping and delivery services to Women, Infants, and Children families in Travis County in an amount not to exceed $180,755 to be paid to the City, for an initial 12-month term and one additional 12-month renewal option ending on December 31, 2023, on an 11-0 vote.

This action will ratify the negotiation and execution of an interlocal agreement with Travis County for a term longer than what was originally approved by Council for the Austin Public Health Department (APH) Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program, to provide WIC families shopping and delivery services for Travis County residents who have previously received WIC benefits and are experiencing circumstances that prevent them from safely going to the grocery store in-person to buy food, which will further the achievement of a public purpose.
