Additional Backup Information:

In April 2025, Council approved the purchase of the property, known as University Park, a property of approximately 1.579 acres with an eight-story office building with approximately 206,657 square feet of administrative office space, and parking garage and surface parking. This property will address the City’s need for facilities in good working condition, future growth needs, and improved public access to City departments. The property is centrally located, LEED Gold Certified, and ideal for easy downtown access.

The APFC contracted with Perkins & Will Inc. for interior, improvement, and furniture design. This amendment will allow the design work to continue and allow for development of the construction budget which will be presented to Council in the Fall of 2026.
