Additional Backup Information:
EMS has been providing emergency medical services to Travis County for over thirty years. The term of the most recent ILA ended on September 30, 2025. The County has the option to extend the ILA for four additional one-year terms beginning on October 1 of each year, subject to the approval of the County Commissioners Court. The ILA provides that if the County exercises its option, City shall not increase the negotiated annual fee payable by County by more than three percent of the negotiated annual fee for the preceding agreement or option term. This item would amend the ILA to increase the County’s payment to the City by 3.26 percent.
