Prior Council Action:

September 20, 2018 - Council authorized negotiation and execution of eight interlocal agreements with the municipalities of Bee Cave, Lakeway, Manor, Rollingwood, Village of San Leanna, Sunset Valley, Village of Volente and West Lake Hills, on a 10-0 vote with Council Member Alter absent.

Additional Backup Information:

Since October 1, 2005, the City has executed interlocal agreements with incorporated municipalities for the City’s provision of public health inspection services, including food establishment, swimming pool, day care, and general environmental complaint inspections and investigations. The City will retain inspection fees, permit fees, and other fees collected from residents and business operators located within each municipality as compensation for such services.

Council’s approval of this item will allow the City’s continuation of services starting on October 1, 2023.  The nine interlocal agreements will be effective for an initial one-year term with four 12-month renewal options.
