May 2, 2024 - Council approved Resolution No. 20240502-008 appointing Rajeev Thomas to the Austin-Bergstrom Landhost Enterprises, Inc. board of directors to replace Mukesh “Mookie” Patel and amending the Austin-Bergstrom Landhost Enterprises, Inc. articles of incorporation and bylaws.

Austin-Bergstrom Landhost Enterprises, Inc. (ABLE) is a public facility corporation created by the City to finance the purchase, rehabilitation, operation, and management of the Hilton Austin Airport Hotel. ABLE affairs are managed by a Board of Directors (board), each of whom, pursuant to the Bylaws of ABLE, is recommended by the Department of Aviation and appointed by City Council.
Recent resignations by board members Angelo DeCaro and Jennifer Williams have created two vacancies. The Department of Aviation recommends the appointment of Gregory S. Milligan to fill the vacancy left by Angelo DeCaro, and Rustin Roussel to fill the vacancy left by Jennifer Williams. The ABLE Board consists of five members, and the other current members of the board are Tracy Thompson, Rajeev Thomas, and Leslie Thorne.
