Additional Backup Information:
The Austin Public Health Department received notice of grant awards totaling $210,000 available for the grant funding period from March 1, 2026, through November 30, 2026. This grant passes funding through Texas Department of State Health Services from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The General Fund will not be required to contribute additional funds beyond those currently budgeted to this grant. When the grant funds expire, the Austin Public Health Department’s need for continuing funding will be evaluated.
