Prior Council Action:
September 26, 2024 - Council approved Resolution No. 20240926-055 accepting grant funding to implement the Austin First Responder Project.
September 25, 2025 - Council approved Resolution No. 20250925-049 accepting funding to continue the Austin First Responder Project.

The Office of the City Manager reviews all grants received and determined that these funds and initiatives align with and advance Council's affirmed vision for department policies and practices as stated in Resolution No. 20200611-096.?
This action will provide the required resolution needed by the State's Criminal Justice Division to apply for $114,755 in grant funding. The project period is October 1, 2026 - September 30, 2027. A City match is not required.
