Additional Backup Information:
Participating Jurisdictions (PJs) that receive U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) entitlement grant funds must develop a Citizen Participation Plan (CPP). The CPP describes how the City will encourage community members to participate in the development of the City's federal reports for entitlement grants distributed by HUD. These reports include the Consolidated Plan, the Action Plan, and the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER).

The City's current CPP states that the city will review the CPP at least every five years as a component of the Consolidated Planning process. If changes to the CPP are necessary, City Council must approve the amendments to the CPP. City staff recommend City Council approved a revised CPP, which will be attached to the resolution as Exhibit A.
