This action will provide the resolution required by the State's Criminal Justice Division to apply for $401,000.00 in grant funding. The project period is September 1, 2026 - August 31, 2027. A City match is not required.
State funding will allow the City to continue supporting positive youth outcomes, leveraging Safe Passages-informed strategies to prevent violence, address truancy, and improve school attendance through safe corridors, trusted community presence, and targeted youth outreach.
