This amendment will provide continued and expanded use of email authentication service for City email communication. This email authentication service utilizes a system that is designed to validate a sender's domain serving as a shield to prevent attempts by malicious entities to impersonate City communications. Impersonating City email can have a negative effect on the public we serve, this software safeguards the public from potential impersonation leading to deception. The proposed contract expansion represents an incremental investment in the City's digital infrastructure, sustaining the integrity of our communications and fostering continued trust within our community.
