Prior Council Action:
March 27, 2025 - Council authorized negotiation and execution of an amendment to the agreement with The SAFE Alliance d/b/a SAFE to manage the City-owned domestic violence shelter, to add one-time funds in the amount not to exceed $125,000 to the term ending on September 30, 2025, and add two extension options each in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000, for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $12,225,000, approved on consent on an 11-0 vote.

May 20, 2021 – Council authorized the award, negotiation, and execution of an agreement with The SAFE Alliance to manage the City-owned domestic violence shelter and provide supportive services, housing assistance, and direct client assistance in an amount not to exceed S2,000,000 in ongoing funding and $100,000 in one-time funding, for the term of May 20, 2021, through September 30, 2022, with three 12-month extension options, each in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for a total agreement amount not to exceed $8,100,000, approved on a 10-0 vote. Mayor Adler abstained.
