Authorize the negotiation and execution of an amendment to an interlocal agreement with Travis County for the City's provision of public health services, to revise the billing process and payment, and add up to four twelve-month extension options, each in an amount not to exceed $7,393,941 including a five percent increase compounded annually, to each option, for a revised total agreement amount not to exceed $40,856,191 to be paid to City. Funding: Travis County will reimburse the City for the public health services provided by the City through a cost recovery model.

Austin Public Health has provided public health services throughout the unincorporated areas of Travis County (County) since 1985. City and County staff worked together for several years in an effort to consolidate the patchwork of agreements and amendments for these services, resulting in an interlocal agreement (ILA) that was approved by the County Commissioners Court and City Council on September 27, 2007, and October 18, 2007, respectively. This original ILA was renewed several times prior to adoption of the current ILA.
