Authorize negotiation and execution of an amendment to the interlocal agreement with the Travis County Healthcare District d/b/a Central Health regarding the Emergency Medical Services Department providing integrated health services to eligible Medical Access Program beneficiaries in exchange for a total contract amount in Fiscal Year 2025-2026 not to exceed $2,000,000. Funding: This amendment will ensure reimbursement to the City $2,000,000 in Fiscal Year 2025-2026 from Central Health for integrated health services provided to Medical Access Program beneficiaries.

The Emergency Medical Services Department has received reimbursement from the Travis County Healthcare District (d/b/a Central Health) for the Medical Access Program (MAP) patients for the past eleven or more years under previous interlocal agreements with Central Health. On June 1, 2013, Central Health and the Seton Healthcare Family created the Community Care Collaborative (CCC), which is a 501(c)(3) corporation designed to be an integrated delivery system that provides a coordinated continuum of services to a defined patient population. The CCC now oversees and funds the MAP and reimburses the City for the transport of MAP beneficiaries.
In October 2012, an initial agreement was created with Community Care Collaborative and in October 2013 the City entered into a new agreement, which provided the ability for three additional one-year terms. The City exercised the renewals in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In October 2017, a ne...
