Additional Backup Information:
The purpose of this contract is to provide consulting and related professional services in the City’s interests during the 89th Interim State Legislative Session and any special called state sessions. The contractor will provide advice to the City and will be responsible for assisting the City’s efforts before the legislature and congress and for selected related activities requiring additional action such as communicating with state and federal agencies. The consultants will be in a position to advance the interests of the City in legislation and to influence the legislative process.
This contract was originally executed in 2024 in an amount within the City Manager’s delegated authority. This extension exceeds the amount, so Council approval is needed.
