The purpose of this agreement is to collaborate on historical research, exhibits, programs, events, and joint initiatives, including the potential creation of a historic district within a defined downtown Austin geographic area containing historic real property owned by each governmental entity, for the benefit of both the City and the County and the populations they serve.
