Prior Council Action:
June 1, 2023 - City Council authorized negotiation and execution of an agreement with Central Texas Food Bank to provide one-time funding for a program to expand food access via a mobile pantry in the Eastern Crescent of Austin, for a 12-month term beginning June 1, 2023, for a total agreement amount not to exceed $180,000, on a 10-0 vote with Council Member Harper-Madison off the dais.
August 12, 2020 - City Council approved the City of Austin Budget for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 (Ordinance No. 20200812-001), which included an allocation of funds for a program to address the social determinants of health by bringing convenient and consistent access to affordable groceries, health and wellness resources, financial literacy resources, and other services to underserved communities in Austin, on an 11-0 vote.
