Additional Backup Information:

The Onion Creek Metro Park District (District) was created by Senate Bill No. 1872, 83rd Legislature, Regular Session, codified at Chapter 3924, Special District Local Laws Code.  The Consent Decree between the City and the District Directors executed in 2014 and amended in 2020 provides that the City Council shall appoint three directors of the District from persons nominated by the City (City Director) and four directors of the District nominated by the Board of Directors (Board) of the District (District Director).  The Consent Decree as executed in 2014 provides that as vacancies occur, the City shall nominate directors to replace the City Directors, and the District Directors shall nominate directors to replace the District Directors, to be appointed by the City Council.

This appointment is term limited to three four-year terms.
