Direct questions regarding this Recommendation for Council Action to the Financial Services Department - Central Procurement at FSDCentralProcurementRCAs@austintexas.gov or 512-974-2500.

Additional Backup Information:

This ratification is for Bitsight products and services, which provides cyber risk management. Annual expenditures for this contract were not expected to exceed the City Manager’s authority for any single year of the contract. When an additional City department was added to this contract in the second year, instead of making annual payments as planned, the City pre-paid for three years of service in Fiscal Year 2023. This pre-pay caused the combined expenditure for that year to exceed the City Manager’s authority by $13,165, requiring this ratification.
