Prior Council Action:
July 31, 2025 - The public hearing on the proposed City of Austin Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 beginning on October 1, 2025, and ending on September 30, 2026, was conducted and a vote on adoption of the budget was postponed to August 13, 2025.
July 23, 2025 - Community input session to receive public comment on the proposed budget was conducted.
July 15, 2025 - Presentation and discussion of the City Manager’s Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Proposed Budget was conducted and a public hearing to receive and consider public comment on the proposed budget for the City for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 was set for July 31, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Austin City Hall.

By this action, the City Council will adopt the City of Austin Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026, which begins on October 1, 2025, and ends on September 30, 2026. The Council held the hearing required by state statute for the budget on July 31, 2025.
