Additional Backup Information:
The contract amendment will supply additional electronic equipment, including convertible tablets, ruggedized laptops, desktops, rack-mounted computers, docking stations, modems, stationary and mobile video equipment, and similar items to properly outfit City fleet vehicles and Radio communication sites as required. This contract is necessary to supply the City with reliable replacement equipment to minimize repair delays, and the requested additional authorization amount is needed to expand the use of the contract to Austin Energy based on the historical expenditure for this type of equipment.
